Miss Reed's second-grade class celebrated their 100th day of school today! They celebrated by doing an experiment to see if 100 licks would be enough to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. They also measured themselves 100 times to see how far from their classroom they could go. They reached the High School gym doors!
Second graders tested what properties make the best pillow stuffing. Cotton, air, and water were a close first, but cotton came out on top. Baseballs were great for giving your neck a massage but hurt to lay your head on. Soft, flexible materials work best!

Road conditions are going to be very similar to yesterday except for fog. As of 6:45, there wasn't much fog. Please use extra caution and give yourself some extra time to get to school today. HS Bowling took on McCool Jct today in York with the girls coming out victorious, 19-2. While the boys came up short, they bowled some of their best games of the season today.
