A large crowd got to hear the students perform "Children of the World". The 6th graders sang "Buy Dirt". The 5th & 6th bands played a couple songs each. Congratulations to Mrs. Stalder, Mr. Elliot, & the students on a great performance. Thank you to those that came out to watch.

Adi Hunt 1st in triple jump, 400m, and 200m, and 3rd in the long jump; Ann Bose 1st in the High Jump, 4th in the long jump, and 7th in 300m hurdles; Brynn Bailey 1st in discus; Mitchel Wilson 2nd in the 300m hurdles, 6th in the 100m dash, 5th in the long jump; Tayley Becker 7th in the 800m; Brecklyn 6th in the 100m hurdles; Laurel Stalder tied for 6th in the pole vault; Cole Broeker 7th in pole vault. Overall 4th place for girls RPAC track!










The SV Golf Team wins second place at RPAC. Individual medalist, Matt Henderson-5th, Kamden Bose - 6th, and Braxton Hammond- 7th.




One week from today will be the last school day for the Class of 2023. Today we celebrate Haly Jordan in our Salute to the Seniors series. Please join us in congratulating Haly and wishing her the best of luck after graduation.

Mrs. Ellis was honored today by the Sponsors that put on the Water Jamboree. She has attended all 30 years that they have put it on, including her years at Beaver City and SV. They gave her a plaque and will also be giving an oak tree in her honor. Congratulations Mrs. Ellis!




This morning, the Southern Valley 9th graders headed to Holdrege to the South Central Nebraska Career Fair. The students heard from speakers about college & professional dress and then had the opportunity to visit with representatives from over 20 potential career fields.

Culinary 1 students competed in a food safety competition as they learned how to keep food safe. Members are shown with their final entry and enjoying the final four entries as a class family.


Thank you to the Intro to FCS class who constructed aprons as part of their class for the food lab at SV. Class members tested these out during their whole grains muffin lab.

Alex, Abby, Stephani, Matt and Alex attended the Youth First Conference at the Archway in Kearney. Thanks ESU 11 for inviting us.
