The Southern Valley Junior class as well as some Seniors, attended the Southwest Nebraska College & Career fair in Cambridge this morning. The event was sponsored by the Nebraska Dept of Economic Development and was attended by multiple schools from the surrounding communities.
If you weren’t in Alma, you missed a great volleyball game between the Lady Cardinals and the Lady Eagles. Eagles won set 1, 25-19. Alma took sets 2 and 3, 18-25 20-25. The Eagles rallied back winning set 4 28-26. But the Eagles came up short in set 5 losing 9-15.
The volleyball game tonight in Alma will be varsity only and will begin at 6:00 pm.

SV Jr High High Girls played at home today against Hi -Line. A team lost in 2 sets, B team WON in 2 sets and C team lost in 3 sets. The next Jr High Volleyball game is Thursday vs. Southwest in Bartley.
The SV volleyball team falls to St Cecilia 2-0. The Eagles return to action tomorrow night as they travel to Alma. First serve is set for 6:00 pm. There will only be varsity games tomorrow night. #svnation

In honor of National Custodian Day, our High School Student Council members gave them a break and helped clean up after each lunch period. We can’t thank our Custodial staff enough for the outstanding work they do here at Southern Valley.
The SV Jr High girls played some great volleyball today in Bladen. They lost a very close 2 set game against Red Cloud and won against Wilcox/Hildreth in 2 quick sets. Congratulations on winning 3rd place at today’s tournament !
