The elementary students enjoyed a beautiful day at the park for their SOAR reward! They played yard games, kickball, football, and enjoyed the playground. Great work little Eagles!

School will run a 12:30 dismissal to allow JH track workers to run the track meet per the original school calendar.

Southern Valley hosts the C-8 District Track Meet. Date added to the calendar when we were chosen to host.
You're invited to the Athletic Banquet Potluck! SV will host their annual athletic banquet potluck on Monday, May 15th at 6:30 p.m. Please come celebrate our athletes and their accomplishments. This banquet will cover all High School and Junior High sports.
The students have filled out the SOARing Eagle poster just in time for one last reward! They will be going to the park in Oxford tomorrow to enjoy some time outside and play games! Please have them dress accordingly.

6th graders are finishing off the year with a personal finance project in math. They really enjoyed looking at career options and the salary the comes with it, but are not so fond of deducting for taxes, insurance, utility bills, etc. to see what's left each month.
