HS Bowling is postponed for today due to weather - snow packed roads and wind is impeding travelling in the Northwest. The team will not travel today to Ogallala. Potential reschedule date is January 5th at the same time.

The Jr High Life Skills class participated in mock interviews this morning. Each student had a chance to sit down with an interviewer and answer a variety of potential interview questions. The students did an excellent job during the activity and had very insightful answers.

The Southern Valley 9th graders held their annual science fair this morning in the HS gym. Students had to create a hypothesis, test their hypothesis and come to a conclusion based on their testing & research. A special thanks to our judges for coming out to help.

SV Elem students put on a great concert in front of a very large crowd. The 5th & 6th Band performed after the vocal concert. Thank you to everyone that came out in the adverse weather conditions.
The 7-12 music department kicked off the week with the 7-12 Christmas Concert. The musical selections featured classic holiday tunes such as “O Holy Night” and “White Christmas” as well as multiple updated versions of the classic hits. Well done SV Nation.
