**Schedule Change for Saturday** Due to the chance of a weather system, we are moving up start times for Saturday Basketball games with Southwest 1:30 pm JV Girls (2 quarters only) NO JV Boys due to illness for SV 2:15 pm Varsity Girls with boys to follow As always, the games will be streamed via Hudl.tv Please repost & share to spread the word.

SV HS Art students Ehme, Emorie & Stephani drew these portraits of nine-year-old Chetan from India for the Memory Project. Created earlier this fall semester, they will be delivered to him this spring. Thank you for sharing your time and effort in bringing joy to this child!

The girls advance to the championship game tomorrow vs Arapahoe @ 5:30 pm.
The boys will play in the consolation game @ 7:15 pm vs Franklin.

Here is what is going on this week involving Southern Valley. Have a great break SV Nation!!


Christmas came early this year as both GBB & BBB close out Pre-Christmas with a win over Loomis. Another impressive victory for GBB & the BBB get their first victory in OT. Both JV's played hard but came up short. G&BBB will return to action @ Arapahoe Tourney on the 27th.

The girls as a team finished 4th overall in a field of 15 teams!!








Our PreK students had their Christmas Program today. They did an outstanding job. We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!



The SV wrestling team competed at a duals tournament in Burwell, NE. Everyone performed well and the team went 3-2 despite having two wrestlers gone because of sickness. Great job Eagles!




The Southern Valley 7-12 students got a little break today and had some fun with Roaming Greens Mini-Golf. Each class got 30 minutes of play to test their skills at the 8 hole course, the "Impossible" putt and other fun mini games. A big thank you to Roaming Greens Mini-Golf!!!






What's for dinner? The SV geometry class project was to use JavaScript code to create a plate full of food for dinner. What looks the most delicious to you?




The 8th graders finished up their Christmas Carol unit with gingerbread houses for the spirits. They had do create a house for Jacob Marley, the ghost of Christmas past, present, and future.






Tomorrow the girls' and boys' basketball teams play Loomis. All games will be in the high school gym starting with Girls JV at 1:30 PM.


SV Bball teams traveled to Ravenna on Thursday. GBB dominated in their game. Both BBB JV & V teams lost their games. All 4 teams will play again on Saturday, starting at 1 at SV.
