Last week we had a pizza party in the elementary library! Students and teachers could earn a ticket to the pizza party by participating in Reading Challenge Bingo or the Golden Sower Club. This year we had 24 students and 4 teachers earn a ticket!

The Junior High boys FPS team competed at the State Tournament today and are bringing home hardware! The team got 5th overall in the booklet competition and 5th in the skit competition. Cohen Wright was on the winning alternate team. Lots of fun and they set goals for coming back next year!
A successful day of track in Cambridge. It was a warm one!
Junior high speech team competed at Maxwell today. The team finished 7th overall.

SV art students Lily, Ellora, Jazmynn, Marko, and Emily also competed in the McCook Paint In today; after given the theme "Legacy" students had under 3 hours to design and paint their mural. Recently, 1st graders read and learned about service dogs. This week Celeste and her dogs Elly and Skyla came to visit and teach us even more about service dogs. Needless to say we loved it!
Mrs. Ruskamps class had fun making nests for our peeps. They enjoyed building with toothpicks and marshmallows. We really learned a lot.
The elementary students celebrated their SOAR reward with a dance party today! Thanks to Georgia for being our DJ and getting the kids out dancing!
