The Lady Eagle Volleyball team competes in the NSAA Subdistrict tournament this afternoon at Amherst. Their first game is at 5:00 pm against Axtell. If the win, they will play a second game against Amherst at 7:30 pm. Good luck, ladies!!

State Cross Country update: a day that started with a school wide send off, ended with an outstanding performance from Addison Lozo. Addison's time of 22:40 was a season best for a 5k and a 2:00 improvement from the exact same course she ran 3 weeks ago!! Way to go Addison. SV Nation is proud of you!!

The Eagles had to dig deep to beat a scrappy Wilcox-Hildreth team tonight in 5 sets at the last home game of the season. After the game the team recognized Senior Tori Bose for her 1,000 career serve receives and 1,000 career digs.
Congratulations to Senior Tori Bose on setting a new Southern Valley school volleyball record for most ace serves in a career!!! Entering the match tonight vs. Wilcox-Hildreth, Tori has accumulated 160 ace serves breaking the previous record of 150 held by Grace Hogeland. Congratulations Tori on your outstanding accomplishment!!
100 Southern Valley students in grades 7-12 were named to the Honor Roll for the 1st Quarter. Way to go Eagles!!
5th Grade Science did experiments today. They tested out the engineering design process by designing aluminum foil boats. They then tested out how much weight each of their boats could hold!

The Eagles finished out the RPAC tournament taking down Hi-Line 2-0 this afternoon. SV wraps up the regular season at home this Thursday vs Wilcox-Hildreth. Game time is set for 6:00 pm and is varsity only.
