The Eagles play the Amherst Broncos tonight! JV plays at 5:00 PM and Varsity will play after, at 6:00 PM. The theme for tonight is USA. Wear all of the red, white, and blue you have! Good luck Eagles!!
The SVA Saints split a doubleheader defeating Chase County and then falling to Kearney Catholic.
Thursday night @ 6:00 pm will be the regular season finale & Senior night when Kearney Catholic comes to Stamford.
The cross country team took on the field at the UNK invite today. A warm & windy day, a hilly course and a field of 292 boys & 189 girls greeted the runners.
Isaac Hamilton had the top time for the boys with a 21:34 and Tayley Becker the top girl effort finishing in the top 25%, clocking a 23:38.
SV XC brought home 4 medals from Hayes Center Thursday. Tayley Becker placed 14th, Isaac Hamilton placed 12th, Prestin Horwart placed 14th and Corbyn Wright placed 8th. Trent Shockman just missed a medal at 17th place and Bryton Stalder placed 22nd with a new PR. Kasten Ruskamp was also just outside the medal list placing 12th. The team travels to UNK today.
Tomorrow, the volleyball team plays the Amherst Broncos. Varsity will start around 6:00 PM. Wear your AMERICA gear!!
**Softball Schedule Change**
Due to low numbers for Kearney Catholic, the game on Thursday night, October 3rd is now Varsity only, starting @ 6:00 pm in Stamford.

The 7-12 marching Eagles band continued their schedule of parades today, marching in the Stamford, Small Town, Big Heart parade!!
If you missed the chance to see them, you can see them again next weekend marching @ Applefest.
The Monday JV football game @ Cambridge has been canceled due to a low number of available players due to injuries.
