The FFA fundraiser (fruit, 4 seasons, summer sausage & pecans) has arrived @ Southern Valley.
All students who sold for the FFA will need to pick up their items to deliver tomorrow, Thursday, December 14 after 3:00 pm.
Mr. Lanik will be at school through the basketball games tomorrow night if an adult needs to come pick up the orders.

SV BBB both JV and V falls to Gothenburg. Both teams will play again on Thursday vs Ravenna, at the Nest, with JV beginning at 4:30 and Varsity scheduled for a 7:30 tip.
SV loses to a very good Gothenburg team. The game was much closer than the score indicates (44-56). JV also lost. Both teams will play again on Thursday, at SV, vs Ravenna with JV starting at 4:30 and Varsity scheduled to start at 6.
SV bowling came up short against Lexington today! Their next competition is @ Ogallala on Friday.

Congratulations to Abree Karash for signing her cheerleading scholarship papers today to Hastings College.
SV Elem students performed "Celebrate the Season" in front of a packed house. Thanks to everyone who was able to watch them. Congratulations to Mrs. Stalder, Mr. Kreifels, and the students on an outstanding program.

The 7-12 music department put on an excellent concert this evening. The students performed a wide-variety of holiday classics to help spread the holiday spirit.

SV Bowling participated in the McCool Jct Invite today. The Boys were Runner-Up and the Girls team won the title.

Second graders have been learning about "Participating in Government." One way is by voting. What better way than by practicing! Students were able to cast their vote on pretend class candidates, for Class President.
SV invite final results. Braxton clenched 1st with the pin, Colby sealed 3rd with a pin, and Sam, Trey, and Gabe placed 4th. SV finished 7th out of 18 teams. Great job! Go EAGLES!
