Christmas came early to the K-6 students! The Book Blast raised enough donations for EVERY K-6 student to get at least 6 books for their home libraries! Thank you to all who supported our literacy drive!







Southern Valley Basketball teams will be competing in the Bob Braithwait Holiday Tournament in Arapahoe on December 28 & 29.

SV JV comes up short in their game vs. Hitchcock County, but varsity comes out on top! Great job, Eagles. Both boys and girls basketball will take the floor tomorrow night at Southwest.











SV Bowling came up short today in Superior with the girls falling 18-3 and the boys 20-1. They return to action January 8 for a home dual at Tornado Alley in Arapahoe.

Varsity will not start before 6:00 pm.

SV BBB JV loses to Loomis, Varsity wins a close one over Loomis, 46-39. Next game is Tuesday @Southwest.





SV GBB soars past Loomis by the score of 66-29. JV lost in their 2 quarter game. They will play again on Monday vs Hitchcock County at the nest starting at 5.

The SV bowling team had a dual in Ogallala today. While both teams came
up short, they continue to get better.



PreK students performing at their Christmas Program. Congratulations to Mrs. Aerni and Mrs. Schultz and both classes for an outstanding program. Thank you to the large crowd that watched the program in person and those that were able to watch it online.




Coach Dexter Becker was awarded the McIntyre Watnam Award in memory of John McIntyre and Brett Watnam. Becker was chosen for the award because he has the best interests of the students in mind, and because he has developed a strong and competitive wrestling program at SV. Thank you Dexter all you do for the SV program.
