Here is what is going on at Southern Valley this week. We have a very full week of activities both at Southern Valley and on the road.
Southern Valley held Homecoming festivities this evening finishing with the coronation.

The SV Eagles came up short tonight falling to Arcadia-Loup City 44-10.
The Eagles travel to Sutton next Friday night. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 pm.
Each year the NSAA recognizes the most successful interscholastic high school activities programs in Nebraska State Championship level competition. The school with the most points scored is awarded the Buckle Up, Phone Down cup championship.
The Southern Valley High School girls were crowned the 2023-2024 Class D Division winners!!!
Tonight our athletes were presented the cup by NSAA Director Nate Neuhaus during halftime of the football game.
Junior and Senior girls dominate flag football today 35-7 to wrap up HOCO competitions this week.
Eagle Volleyball greeted the Elementary this morning for High Five Friday!

XC brought home some hardware today! Tayley Becker was 9th in HS girls. Isaac Hamilton was 12th and Prestin Horwart was 13th in HS boys. Hunter Lans was 5th in JH boys. Lots of PR's today also!
The Cross Country team is at Cambridge today!
The Homecoming football game is here!! The Eagles play Arcadia Loup City at 7:00 PM! There are a lot of events going on tonight. Come support the Eagles!
The SV Eagles rally all night long to win a hard fought match 3-1 over Cozad!!
The Eagles return to action Tuesday when they host a triangular with Franklin and Elm Creek. 1st serve is set for 5:00 pm.
Please note that Tuesday night for the triangular, the JV team & Varsity team will be playing at the same time using both gyms.
The SVA Saints swept a doubleheader @ Chase County tonight winning 17-0 and 21-4!!
The Saints return to action Tuesday night when Lexington visits Stamford for a JV/Varsity tilt starting @ 5:00 pm.
Senior boys win today's HOCO competition. They defeated the juniors in the Gorilla Volleyball Championship!

The Eagles play Cozad tonight at the NEST! Reserve starts at 5:00 PM. JV will play after. Varsity will play after them, around 6:30! WEAR PURPLE!
