Southern Valley would like to thank all the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and siblings who came out to Books and Breakfast/Snacks and Stories this week. ESU 11 helped sponsor the event by providing the books and activities. With reading being such an important part of a child's development, it was nice to see everyone enjoying themselves. We hope to bring more events like this to Southern Valley Elementary in the future.

SV Student Council will be selling candy canes at the K-12 program. You may purchase candy canes and write a message to your student on the tags. We will deliver it to your student at school on Friday, December 19th. $1 per candy cane or $5 for 6.

The Eagles took down Cambridge in an RPAC battle tonight 55-50. They return to action Thursday night in Elwood when they take on the Hi-Line Bulls.
The SV Eagles took on Cambridge tonight in a back and forth matchup but ultimately came up short. They will return to action on Thursday night in Elwood vs Hi-Line.

Sully Bantam was also a bracket champion going 2-0 on the day.
