March 2-6 was Read Across America Week. We celebrated in the elementary library by reading Wacky Wednesday by Dr.Seuss, adding fun sound effects with the Novel Effects app. 3rd-6th graders also enjoyed a "book tasting." Platters of books and food-scented bookmarks were provided. Sudents were given time to sample a few books from the platters. Several kids found a new book to check out!
