The Eagles came up short tonight, falling to Yutan 51-41 in the district final to finish the season 20-6. Thanks to our seniors for their outstanding careers & contributions to SV Basketball.
Fifth and sixth graders had a great time yesterday at the Healthy Habits field trip, hosted by the 4-H Extension Office at Arapahoe!
The District Final Game is today! It starts at 6:00 PM in Yutan. The THEME is HAWAIIAN!

This morning @ 10:57 am, Southern Valley Schools participated in a Cardiac Emergency practice as part of our Heart Safe Schools designation. A call was made to dispatch as part of the required exercise. Local EMS was notified and responded to the practice. There was no active emergency but SV Schools is required to drill as such.
Two SV seniors will have artwork on display in the capitol building in Lincoln during March for the state-wide Youth Art Month exhibit. Congrats to Ehme Linner and Shandlyn Green for representing our school with their art!Ā

As May approaches, the annual Southern Valley Field Day (Wednesday, May 7th) is getting closer and closer! We love the tradition of the color-coordinated t-shirts for each grade as it makes it easier for planning and watching. With that being said, we ask for donations from you or your business to help us make it possible!
In the past, we have had people use this as advertising, write-offs, and donations for our program. Your name (or company name) will go on the back of the t-shirt if your donation is $100 or more. These shirts will be worn on field day and will go home with each student at the end of the day.

The HS Boys BB team falls short 63-47 in the 1st round of sub-districts tonight in Elm Creek.
Because the district final basketball game for our girls is such a long distance, we are changing Friday, February 28th to a 12:30 dismissal to allow fans to travel to Yutan. The game starts at 6:00 P.M..
