7th grader AmaLeigh Utterback represented Southern Valley at the junior high state cross country meet in Papillion on Saturday, October 7. She was one of 1,135 runners that participated from across the state.

Juniors attended the South Central Nebraska Career and College Fair in Cambridge. Students had the opportunity to learn about employment opportunities in the area and also talk to college reps.
