High school boys district wrestling continues today, starting at 9:30 AM at Wilcox-Hildreth. Good luck boys!
The basketball teams traveled to Dundy County to take on the Tigers. The girls won their final regular season game while the boys came up short. The girls will begin sub-district play on Tuesday at Thayer Central. The boys will play again on Friday in Axtell.
8 wrestlers move on to day two. Trey, Colby, Nate, Sam, Prestin, Hayden, Chase, and Bryton all move on to day two as they continue their quest for a trip to Omaha! Stay tuned tomorrow. Wrestling starts at 9:30. Doors open at 8:30. Be there early if you want a seat!

Southern Valley Volleyball is excited to announce its 1st annual Alumni Volleyball tournament. The tournament will be held @ Southern Valley HS on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Each team must have at least one Southern Valley graduate (current high school-aged students may not participate). If interested, please contact Coach Ali Hosier or scan the QR code to sign up.

In January, the elementary library had a competition to see which classes could earn enough AR points to build snowman puzzles in the library windows. The winning classes got to enjoy cocoa and cookies in the library!
**Schedule Change**
Due to low numbers, there will be NO JV for either Girls or Boys basketball @ Dundy County-Stratton on Friday, February 14. Varsity Girls will now start @ 5:00 pm CST/4:00 pm MTN and be followed by the Boys.

Congratulations to Senior Tylor Grove for breaking the school single-game record for rebounds in a game with 22 on Tuesday night @ Gibbon, breaking the previous school record of 20. Congratulations Tylor!!!
The Valentine's Day cookies that the cheerleaders sold as a fundraiser have arrived and are ready to be picked up tomorrow at Parent Teacher Conferences between 1:30-7:30 pm. If you are not able to pick them up tomorrow, your student will get their cookies on Monday.

Southern Valley Schools will not have school tomorrow, February 13, due to the extreme temperatures and for the fact that we already had a 12:30 dismissal scheduled, Parent teacher conferences will go on as scheduled and they will begin at 1:30 P.M. Stay warm!
SV Basketball Teams traveled to Gibbon on Tuesday. Both Girls teams won and both boys teams lost. Everyone except girls JV will play again on Friday at Dundy County starting at 4:30.
