SV Freshmen attended a Career Fair in Holdrege today. Students learned about different careers and participated in several hands-on activities.
On April 15th, the 4th grade traveled to the Stuhr Museum to learn about the Civil War and tour the old town.

Junior High Track competed at their first meet of the season on Tuesday. It was the perfect day for a track meet and the kids came out to compete!
JH track kicked off their season today at Alma. Lots of personal bests were posted by tons of kids. They compete again this Thursday @ Phillipsburg.
Today we had a balloon blowing contest just for fun. They did a great job at this. Some got really big.
The Golf Team traveled to Arapahoe for their Invite. Jace misses out on a medal by 2 strokes. As a team they shot a 409. They will travel to Alma for their next meet, on April 22nd.
The first junior high track meet is today! It is in Alma at 1:00 PM. Running events will start at 3:00 PM.
The Eagle Golf Team heads to Arapahoe this morning. Play begins @ 9:30 am.

Last week we had a pizza party in the elementary library! Students and teachers could earn a ticket to the pizza party by participating in Reading Challenge Bingo or the Golden Sower Club. This year we had 24 students and 4 teachers earn a ticket!

The Junior High boys FPS team competed at the State Tournament today and are bringing home hardware! The team got 5th overall in the booklet competition and 5th in the skit competition. Cohen Wright was on the winning alternate team. Lots of fun and they set goals for coming back next year!
