JH boys took on Pleasanton. They came up short. They will play at 4 for third or fourth place.

Both boys and girls came up short in the junior high tournament.

Friday night Southern Valley hosted Teammates Appreciation night during the basketball games with Holdrege. Between the games we had the mentors and mentees from both schools be recognized out on the floor. We want to thank our mentors for their service and dedication to our students!!

The Southern Valley HS Quiz bowl team had an outstanding day @ the RPAC Quiz bowl tournament today, coming home with their 4th consecutive RPAC championship!! Way to go Eagles!!

The Eagles took on Chase County tonight with the girls pulling out a 45-43 thriller in OT!!! The teams return to action on Friday when Holdrege visits the nest for Teammates Appreciation night.

With his first made 3 pointer tonight, Isaac Hamilton now sits alone in the Southern Valley record books for career 3 pointers made with 173 and counting, breaking the old record of 172 held by Alex Kaup. Way to go Isaac!!!

The Construction Class under the direction of Mr Jason Huerta is in the process of completing a custom built shed for the Pre-K playground. These four seniors have done all the work from design to completion and will leave a structure to be utilized for years to come!!
