The digital tickets for State Wrestling have been delivered to Southern Valley. If you purchased tickets in the team block of tickets, look for an email from Ticketmaster in the next few days. Girls State Tickets were sent out this morning via email. If you do not receive your tickets by Monday, Feb 9, please reach out to Mr. Lanik at the High School.

There will be a sign up sheet outside Ms. Eman’s room for any students interested in taking Drivers Ed classes this spring. Students must be 14 years old before June 1st 2026 and have a school or learners permit to take the course. More information will be sent to parents after everyone has signed up.

Congratulations to our 18 SV FCCLA members who competed at the District 11 STAR competition. Our Interpersonal Communications team and Level 3 Parliamentary Procedure team both received gold medals with all other competitors receiving silver medals. Next up, State FCCLA!

The boys wrestled well today in Arapahoe. We had four placers and we finished sixth as a team. Bryton 1st Prestin 1st Hayden 3rd Bennet 4th Next up, Southwest on Friday

The finals and 3rd/4th place games will begin soon at the Darrell Barnes invite in Arapahoe. The SV boys will have the following in the final round. Bryton for 1st/2nd (round robin bracket) Prestin for 1st/2nd Hayden for 3rd/4th Bennet for 3rd/4th

Girls Wrestling Update from Ansley Wrestling in the finals Hayley Serfontein (115) Natalie Breinig (140) Cydney Carlson (155) Wrestling for 3rd Cali Santifer (100) Laney Becker (110) Elena Lee (235) is still alive in her round robin bracket as well. Finals to start shortly. In the team race the girls are sitting in 2nd place.

HS boys and girls wrestling both compete today, with the girls competing at Ansley-Litchfield and the boys at Arapahoe. Girls will start at 9:30 AM, and the boys at 10:00 AM. Good luck, wrestlers!
